Comparison Series: Gray Cremes

This is the first post in a new series of comparison posts here on Never Enough Nails. In these comparison posts, I am going to show you two or more polishes in the same color family and finish (i.e. two cremes, two shimmers, etc.). Wherever I have dupes, I'll show you them of course, but the purpose of these posts is more for you to see the difference between polishes and maybe decide which one you like better or maybe you'll decide you need both!

This post is a comparison of gray cremes- China Glaze Recycle, Essie Chinchilly, and I also included OPI Parlez-vous OPI just for fun. OPI Parlez-vous OPI is a grayed purple, but as you can see, it is much more purple than gray.

left to right, China Glaze Recycle, Essie Chinchilly, OPI Parlez-vous OPI, three coats, no flash
China Glaze Recycle is a medium gray that leans blue at times. I would call this one "slate gray". Essie Chinchilly is a lighter gray that has no blue undertones at all. I would say Chinchilly has more beige/tan undertones than blue.

same order, three coats, no flash
CG Recycle and Essie Chinchilly are definitely different enough to warrant owning both. I still love the gray creme trend and encourage you to try one of these if you haven't tried one yet. If you're cool-toned, try Recycle. Warm-toned? Try Chinchilly.

Next up, I think we'll have China Glaze Emerald Sparkle vs. China Glaze Watermelon Rind! Please send any requests for the comparison series to neverenoughnails@gmail.com
Thanks for reading!!
