Remember a few weeks ago when I posted about Hello Kitty Beauty having a preview sale on Sephora? Well, I finally tried my Blueberry nail polish that I purchased in that preview sale. I was a little concerned before trying this polish because you never know how good a new brand will be, you know?
Can I just say that I LOVE THIS NAIL POLISH!!!!!! First of all, the color is gorgeous- so bright and fun. This will be just perfect for spring. It's a feminine periwinkle, but definitely not pastel. Secondly, the formula of this polish is insanely good! Definitely on par/better than the best of them/ Usually cremes of this color are thick, goopy, and difficult to work with or they are thin and need 3 or 4 coats to become opaque. This was two coats with absolutely no visible nail line at all. It was thin and easy to apply, but not too thin. The brush is also a good size, not as wide as OPI's Pro-Wide brush, but wider than the average polish brush. I paid $10 for this, and it was worth every penny of that. A+++++ for the formula here!
Now that we've discussed the polish itself, can we talk about the freaking adorable bottle? Sooo cute!!! I don't actually know how much polish is in this bottle. I did not think to write that down when I ordered. It is a short bottle, but I think the wideness probably makes up for some of the shortness, you know? So there is definitely more product than a mini polish.
I also bought these Hello Kitty Beauty nail stickers. Cute right? I don't do nail stickers that often, but I love Hello Kitty. There are little kitty heads, butterflies, bows, etc. I put a medium-sized Hello Kitty head on my ring finger to show you.
By the way, that little weird gap in the polish on my ring finger was totally my fault, not the polish's fault. I actually didn't notice it until I looked at the pictures on the computer. It doesn't look that obvious in real life. I did this before having my two cups of coffee this morning LOL. I can't function without coffee!
The Hello Kitty Beauty line is coming to Sephora stores and Sephora.com soon. They originally said sometime in January, so I'll let you know if I hear anything more about that/if I see it up on the website!
